Testing¶

Stub, made 2026-10-15 so that we can consider moving all the testing standards here (Content item 144). They are on two pages today: the Testing section of the Apex page (Coverage, Test Classes, Test Selection, Running As a User, Assertions, and Sharing and Access Mode in Test Classes) and the Testing section of the JavaScript page (Jest, still a stub). The Principles page has the Testing principle, and Section 5 describes the tests of the pipeline.

Testing with UTAM, Salesforce's UI Test Automation Model: page objects for Lightning web components and the Salesforce UI, run through WebdriverIO or Selenium. Decide whether UI tests get a standard here, where they run in the pipeline, and how they relate to the Jest and Apex tests (Content item 114).
